Procedure for Building Permission

Approval of building construction will be given within the 30 days of receiving of application, as per building by-laws up to certain limit / area of plot building permission not required. There is a provision of fee to get building permission on different heads i.e. Development fee, application fee, road cutting, malba shulk etc.

Documents Required

Following documents are required for Building Permission at Nagar Palika Parishad:

  • Prescribed application form for Building Permission.
  • Notarised Registry of the Plot.
  • Nazul N.O.C./BDA N.O.C./Housing Board N.O.C. ( whichever applicable)
  • Affidavit for Building Permission
  • Map/Site Plans ( A set of one original Film and seven Blue Prints)
  • Municipal Corporation N.O.C. of respective Ward.
  • Structural Stability Certificate of earthquake by competent structural Engineer/agency

Validity

Building Permission granted by Nagar Palika Parishad is valid for one year. However it can be renewed for one more year, thereafter a new permission is required if building is not constructed by this time.

Penalty imposed if a building is constructed without approval or there is a violation of approved plan

Penalty equivalent to 15-50 times of regular Building Permission fees can be imposed in these cases.
